The working cat’s mini spa is only for cats that are not in need of de-matting or de-pelting services.

Conditioning your cat early to the professional grooming services can go a long way to improve results and reduce stress during future grooms. This package is a great way to introduce a shy cat to the grooming process, gauge an older cats tolerance of new procedures, or just pamper your pet while keeping them clean and reducing some of that shedding in between regularly scheduled full grooms.

Mini spa treatments may be performed by apprentices or senior grooming staff, as it’s a low exposure experience that is typically very easy to tolerate.

Standard Packages are for cats that are under 18lbs, not oversized or triple coated, and not in need of de-matting or de-pelting services. See Special Breed Packages and additional service fees for these cats.

The Intern for Kittens

Did you know short hair cats shed more hair than long hair cats? Regular 6-8 week schedule will help to control excessive shedding, dandruff, hairballs, ingrown nails, waxy ears, messy bottom. During the bath we will remove dirt and grime from your cat’s coat so you can have well-groomed and luxurious looking cat with less cat hair flying in your house!

Employee of the Month for Long Hair Breeds

The degreasing baths are the most important part of the groom. A regular 6-8 week schedule will help to control excessive shedding, hairballs, tear staining, ingrown nails, smelly bottoms, and preventing matting, pelting and associated skin issues. We will help you to have a clean, fluffed, nice smelling, luxurious looking cat and less hair in your house!

The CEO (aka Lion Cut)

The CEO is for matt-free and pelt-free cats only. Removing matts and pelts will incur additional fees due to the risky nature of the groom and due to the additional time needed to be completed safely.

A lion cut is not a skin-close shave, but rather a very close to the skin clipper cut that leaves a couple millimeters (or 1/16 of an inch) of fur on your cats torso. As long as the cat is not in need of matt or pelt removal, we will leave the main either pointed or rounded, the tail will remain full or with a pom pom puff at the end of tail, and “boots” on all four legs.

The Lion cut is very popular for both short and long haired cats. It helps to keep cats cool, reduce shedding, prevent matting, alleviate messy and smelly bottoms, and reduce fur in the house overall.

Please note: If cat is matted / pelted and needs to be shaved to a lion cut, additional matting / pelting charges will apply and are non-negotiable. Additional waivers will need to be signed in these cases. Not all cats are candidates for a lion cut. Each cat will be assessed on a one-by-one basis, prioritizing your cats health and safety above personal preferences.

The Board Member (aka Teddy Bear Cut)

This service is only available to cats that do NOT need pelt removal. Small matts can be removed prior to the trim, but pelts disqualify this service.

• 3/8″ to 1″ all over hair trim, excluding the tail, main, and lower legs.

The Teddy Bear Cut is very popular for both short and long haired cats. It helps to keep cats cool, reduce shedding, prevent matting, alleviate messy and smelly bottoms, and reduce fur in the house overall.

Please note: Not all cats are good candidates for a teddy bear cut. Each cat will be assessed on a one-by-one basis, prioritizing your cats health and safety above personal preferences.

Standard Packages for Professional Cats

• pre-bath degreasing lotion application for feet and areas with extra wrinkles

• gentle ear cleaning and outer wax removal
• eye cleaning

The Sphynx are considered hairless, but do have what we would describe as peach fuzz fur. They are known to be exceptionally greasy as they do not have coat to absorb natural oils produced by their skin. They require regular baths with gentle body and nail degreasing to keep their skin healthy and clean.

While nail caps are a common optional add-on for other cats, we typically do not recommend them for the Sphynx breed because of how hard it is already to keep their feet clean and grease-free.
